What is Sway?

Sway

Ireland's first database of screened, remote-ready talent. We make remote work skills visible while building the evidence base for national policy change.

Frequently asked questions

What data do you collect?

Your role, industry, county, salary band, remote preferences, and experience level. Enough to match you with employers and build the policy case.

Who sees my profile?

You choose: campaign data only, employers only, or both. Your name and contact stay private until you choose to connect.

Can employers see my story of impact?

No. Your personal story stays with the campaign. Employers only see your professional profile: skills, experience, and location.

How does my signup help Ireland?

Every signup adds to the evidence. Data is aggregated and anonymised through Grow Remote to show policymakers where remote talent lives and what they need.

What's the connection to Grow Remote?

Grow Remote is Ireland's largest remote work community. Sway provides the platform free of charge to support the campaign for national remote employment targets.

What are the numbers behind the campaign?

Great question. Grow Remote has compiled the full evidence base including economic impact, tax revenue, and regional data. See the policy research →

Will my CV be visible to my current employer?

No. We will hide your profile from your employer's account.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, anytime. Pause your profile, hide from employers, or delete entirely. No lock-in, no questions asked.

Is this only for tech workers?

No. Remote work spans every industry. If your role can be done remotely, you belong here.

Do you show jobs?

No. Job boards are everywhere and just put candidates in a pool of thousands of others. We're a talent database, not a job board. Employers search Sway to find screened, remote-ready candidates directly.

Are you registered as an employment agency?

Not yet. Right now, people join to register demand for remote work and to make their skills visible in a remote-first context. We're proving to policymakers that people want a clear national target, and showing employers that the skillset is here. Employers can access the database from 1 March 2026.

When are you open to employers?

We're registering interest from employers now and open to access from March 1st.
